Already present in Montpellier and Paris, Artfx had already settled in September 2020 at the Plaine Images. A choice motivated by the strategic geographic position, at the crossroads of Europe, but also for the richness of activity of the territory and the ecosystem of the Plaine Images.

This first year of installation in Hauts-de-France is a real success for ArtFX which already welcomes a hundred students and which continues to receive applications from future students. A success for the school which will allow it to reach its maximum capacity for the start of the 2022 school year.
Back to school 2023, a new campus, a new scale!
Building on this success, it was at the start of the 2023 school year that a new building will become the new ArtFX campus will be delivered on the same site. An 18,000 m2 project in total, located exactly on the border between Roubaix and Tourcoing, which will include:
- A 6,000 m2 school, including a hall that can be used as an exhibition space + amphitheater 180 places open to the public + 1 projection room 72 seats.
- 400 m2 of filming studios dedicated to students ArtFX
- An equivalent student residence 500 rooms, with shared spaces and services
- 2 living spaces, open to the city, whose vocation is to welcome shops and services.
- A space to incubate a technological partner
The building imagined by the agency Valode & Pistre integrates perfectly into the Plaine Images district, the urban composition of which it comes to fill, by offering the site a new main entrance ... and a real student life.
The school is in Tourcoing, while the accommodation is in Roubaix. From the Fresnoy, a national studio of contemporary arts, the Artfx campus will draw a double axis, opening on one side to Ankama sympathy of synergy between animation and video games, on the other side towards the set platforms and the Imaginarium incubator. The architectural model is designed to fully deploy the innovative artfx pedagogy by rethinking learning, experimentation and exchanges.
